Strategy
The Path to Production
- As a Helium & Hydrogen development company, Georgina Energy is significantly further advanced than most typical oil & gas exploration entities.
- Exploration risk usually associated with such plays is very low. Every well drilled which has penetrated the subsalt Heavitree Formation in the Amadeus basin has produced high concentrations of Helium (Mt Kitty 9%, Magee 6%) Mt Kitty also recorded 11% Hydrogen.
- Our path to production is definitive due to extensive historical drilling data showing the potential of Helium and Hydrogen reservoirs.
- For the drilling program, the company does not solely rely on seismic. It uses actual historical drilling data.
- All prospects have been drilled before almost to the top of targeted reservoirs.
- As a key advantage, Georgina Energy plans to re enter & deepen existing wells to produce Helium Hydrogen & natural gas production.
- Natural gas will be used to power in situ plants to separate Hydrogen & Helium with produced CO2 being sequestered permanently in solution mined salt caverns.

Commercialization Strategy
- Minimal capital requirement proposal comprises a modular liquid Helium /Hydrogen plant, tanker & ISO containers for transport of helium moves 97% of world’s Helium. Once the company is listed, this provides access to the debt and equity markets for development capital.
- Darwin-based Helium plant, owned and operated by Linde AG, is currently under-utilized.
- Sale of the entire project to an industrial gas company or strategic gas user.
- Selling feed gas to a major industrial company that would Build-Own-Operate (BOO) a liquid Hydrogen/Helium plant.
- Form a JV with one of the major industrial gas companies to BOO the plant and sell hydrogen/Helium.
- Solution mined salt caverns to store not only CCUS waste to enable “blue” Hydrogen/Helium but additional separate caverns could store huge quantities of Hydrogen, Helium and natural gas to allow more flexible logistics and transport to markets.
- The recovery of Hydrogen/H requires a specialist plant. The gas comes to the surface with other impurities including natural gas.
- BOC/Linde AG provides a field plant for the cryogenic recovery of raw Hydrogen/Helium.
- The plan is to finalise an off-take agreement. This will see Hydrogen/Helium purification by way of pressure swing absorption (PSA) recovery into high purity products, (> pure ).
- The liquified product is stored in on-site bunker facilities and/or solution mined salt caverns.
- Helium is a non-combustible product. It will be trucked to the Darwin plant.
- Hydrogen can be easily converted to ammonia, (NH3) for economical safe long-distance transport & export.
- Once Stage One is commercialized, secondary wells will be developed.
